Snippy is a small and simple tool to make screen captures. Its appearance is very basic, but its best quality is, above all, in the ability to capture determined areas of the screen without having to stick with the limits of the box. You can define the area you want to capture even by hand, avoiding capturing objects that don´t interest you.

Snippy installs in your system as an icon on the toolbar. Clicking on it lets you start the capture process. In addition to doing it by hand, you can also opt for the classic rectangle, just by using the Shift key.
